USHRN Board Member Martin Luther King III Address at Biannual 2013 Conference

In celebration of Martin Luther King Day, USHRN was privileged to share this special video presentation by USHRN board member, Mr. Martin Luther King III, on the need for a bold human rights movement in the United States.

Mr. King reminds us that "Poverty by its very definition is a violation of human rights."

Mr. King addressed the 2013 biannual national conference, ADVANCING HUMAN RIGHTS 2013: Dignity. Justice. Action., during the Welcoming Event held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, challenging us to grab the baton and fight for the human rights of all in the United States.

USHRN also announced the launch of a yearlong media campaign to support our collective efforts to build a people-centered human rights movement.
