Join the 2014 Regional Justice Leadership Summit: Affirming the Dream for Justice

Community advocates and activists, residents, elected officials, and members of the legal, housing, environmental justice, economic justice, public health and policy communities from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida are encouraged to attend.

Plenaries will focus on: Community Development ♦ Public Health and Environmental Justice ♦ Economic Justice ♦ Housing Justice

Regional Documentaries will be premiered - Come Hell or High Water: The Battle for Turkey Creek and Mobile in Black and White

The two day event will also include a Human Rights Hearing and People’s Movement Assembly.

A Town Hall Meeting will be held the preceding Wednesday (April 23), where community members can discuss such questions as: What are Your Rights? ● What are the Potential Health Risks? ● How do You Advocate for Your Rights?● Do You Need Help Identifying Resources?

The Town Hall Meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at the William “Bill” Clarke Family Center, located at 2501 W. Main St., Prichard, AL.
