Join us on December 6, 2013, from 1-3 pm Eastern at the USHRN national biannual conference in Atlanta for a free 2-hour youth-focused human rights training. This session will address issues specific to youth and children’s rights, and will cover the basic principles of human rights, governments’ responsibility to protect these rights, and youth organizing to ensure these rights. The session will be led by USHRN national education coordinator Dr. Yolande Tomlinson and student interns and volunteers of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Dina Tyson and Khalidah Guy. While the session will focus on youth, anyone is welcome to participate. This training is also free to all conference attendees and the general public.
