October of 2017 marks the 70th year since W.E.B. DuBois submitted the famous letter, "An Appeal to the World", to the United Nations; and in 2018 we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Yet, despite the passage of time, the sacrifice of movement leaders and the continued struggles for liberation, Human Rights standards are not the norm. The US Human Rights Network still stands as the only national organization dedicated to building a people-centered human rights movement within the United States.
In this time of increased repression and attacks on human rights institutions, civil liberties and marginalized communities, our work is as important as ever. We need your support now to meet this political moment with the power of the people armed with the standards of human rights. Join the movement!
Over the next 7 weeks, we have a goal to raise $7,000 and have 70 new monthly sustainers who give to and support the US Human Rights Network.
