The United Nations is an international organization whose stated aims are to facilitate cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress and human rights issues. This past February a delegation of youth were taken to the UN to be a part of the review for the United States on the CERD treaty (Convention to Eliminate all Forms of Racial Discrimination).
