Education Opportunities

Membership support and capacity building are central to the USHRN mission and a primary component of virtually every Network project or campaign. Member support activities include human rights education opportunities, information dissemination on human rights issues, and human rights 101 and advanced training seminars and workshops on thematic and operational themes (including networking, coalition building, organizing and advocacy).  The USHRN bi-weekly updates, periodic training calls, communications to members, substantive reports and training manuals, and social media are the means through which such support is provided.
