The US Human Rights Network will be hosting a full-day Youth & Student Human Rights Conference April 18, 2008 during our national conference. December's Youth Summit in Chicago has solidified one thing for all the youth and student organizers and activists: that the exclusion and attack of young people, especially young people of color in all areas of the public sector (healthcare, education, juvenile detention and migration) is a human rights issue.
Join us as we discuss these and other relevant issues facing young people in the US at this country's non-compliance when it comes to adhering to international human rights standardrs and youth. Registration for the youth summit includes the full 4-day conference. Registration is only $25 and includes access to all trainings and meals April 17-20th. Limited scholarships are available until March 15th. Register for scholarship application.
Registration is now closed Must register onsite
