Are you a human rights trainer or seeking training in human rights?
The USHRN is excited to announce the launch of the Human RIghts Mapping Database, a unique interactive portal for tracking human rights trainers, events, and resources. This database will be a critical resource for organizations, activists, and trainers alike but we need your support to make it complete.
The databases' utility comes from your organization populating it with training materials, posting upcoming workshops, and exchanging information.
The mapping and database project that will allow us to promote and expand the work of U.S.-based organizations engaged in domestic human rights work. This important project will give us, for the first time, a comprehensive picture of the collective resources, skills, knowledge and expertise that exists across the diverse USHRN membership.
The Mapping Project will allow us to engage in a gap analysis to determine what additional training needs exist in the domestic human rights field.
We encourage you to check out the database and create an account for your organization to begin uploading resources.
Please note that the database will have some initial kinks that will be worked out over the next month or so and we encourage you to provide feedback via the website.
