During the workshop, the panel will discuss the Human Right to Housing for youth as well as other issues that are important to them, such as: access to jobs, transportation, education, health care, public benefits, identification, and freedom from police abuse. They will show how homelessness is the result human rights violations “hitting” home. The youth will incorporate their own personal experiences in “speeking truth to power” to advance a Human Rights message.
