While fast food corporations like McDonalds make billions of dollars in profits every year, their workers are barely surviving on poverty wages.
From event organizers:
We are, as Fannie Lou Hamer famously said, "Sick and tired of being sick and tired" We are organizing with our coworkers and ready to fight for a living wage of $15 an hour and union rights.
Join fast food workers from across Atlanta for a rally on September 4th (at 660 Boulevard NE, where we'll march to our big rally) as we build our movement for a better future for our families and all workers across the South and the nation. We believe that we will win!
